Terraria Retro Edition: Old Terraria Textures and Sounds!

Old Terraria textures. A mixture of 1.0.6, 1.1, and 1.2 textures, plus custom resprited textures
Also replaces some of the music tracks to match what they were before 1.3

I'm mostly doing the textures at request now although a majority are done, so if you see a problem, or have a specific item you want resprited to match the style, just let me know!

Turn off windy environment and background, and put the lighting to "trippy" or "retro" for best results!
Turn off all, "Effects," settings for the most authentic experience
Put parallax to 0% or the underground backgrounds might look weird
I also recommend to turn off the new NPC portraits

I don't think there's anything I can do about the sun and moon effects on the clouds

Resource packs are currently pretty buggy on Linux unless you use Proton (I use Proton 11.0) so I recommend doing that

Alternatively, use this pack by Trufas on top of Retro Edition that aims to fix the issues present on Linux while also leaning into Linux's buggy side to improve some stuff!
